Studio Hire Terms & Conditions

 
  • Whoever is named on the booking must be present for the entire duration of the hire.

  • Studio Hire must be paid in advance, additional time is subject to availability.

  • Fees for additional time that was not billed during the initial booking will be due at the end of the rental period.

  • Rental time begins promptly at the prescribed starting time and ends promptly at the prescribed ending time, regardless if renter and/or renter’s party is late.

  • Rental time includes load-in, setup, tear down and cleaning. The studio must be cleaned and vacated by the scheduled end time and no later, please consider this when booking your rental.

  • No smoking or vaping allowed in the studio. Projects involving smoke must have prior consent of a 921 representative.

  • Music is to be kept at reasonable levels.

  • No one will be admitted who is under the influence of alcohol or illegal substances.

  • No pets allowed without prior consent of a company representative.

  • Maximum of 6 people in renter’s party. Total 12 people max in the studio at one time.

  • 25 percent reschedule fee if notice is less than 48-hours before the start of a scheduled hire.

  • Cancellations made more than 48-hours before the start of a scheduled hire are refunded 80% of their booking charge.

  • No refund for cancellation made less than 48-hours before the start of a scheduled hire.

  • Basic Studio lighting is included with hire. Additional Lighting may be hired through our partner : Lightchasers Rentals.

  • Renter is responsible for studio lighting setup and tear down.

  • All pre-installed paper backdrops (olive green, beige, black, light blue) are included with studio rentals (Colours may vary)

  • 921 Studios serves dual roles as both a production facilityand rental pickup location. It has not been designed as a soundstage for video productions. As a result, the studio may have staff and other clients present, and external noise from neighboring businesses in our commercial area is a possibility. Our team are mindful of disruptions and do their best to keep them to a minimum. Additionally, environmental factors such as rain and wind can impact noise levels.

  • Cyclorama wall will be presented in great condition at the start of your studio hire. Care must be taken to keep it in this condition. If the floor is marked in any way then a $140 repaint fee will apply. Please call for pricing for painting a fresh coat.

  • If the cyclorama is damaged in any way, including impact damage, cracks from putting pressure on the curve or dragging furniture then a $800 repair fee will apply.

  • All small and/or hard to clean material (confetti, hair cutting, feathers, food products, body paint, etc.) require approval from company representative. $60 additional cleaning fee may be charged depending on studio condition at wrap.

  • Liability insurance is required for anyone hiring the studio. We’d be happy to put you in touch with our insurance broker to arrange a quote

  • If you bring your own equipment which requires power (e.g. Laptop / Lighting / Portable Spa Bath) then this equipment must be electrically certified and display a current test & tag sticker.

  • Parking in the carparks of other businesses in the complex is not allowed and may result in your vehicle being towed. Please use on-street parking if there is no designated parking available.
